What makes a great story?
Best-selling author and professor Jonathan Gottschall once said that, “Story — whether delivered through films, books, or video games — teaches us facts about the world; influences our moral logic; and marks us with fears, hopes, and anxieties that alter our behavior, perhaps even our personalities.” If stories really are this influential, then how do we better understand them?
Storytelling skills can be an asset to whatever you are doing, whether you are a business looking for ways to better connect with your clients, or you are a creative engaging the world through your art.
In our ‘Storytelling 101’ workshop, you’ll learn what kind of storyteller you are and how to best hone your craft. You’ll also get tips on how to communicate your stories more effectively. This introductory workshop is perfect for lunch and learns, or other team gatherings.
